Seanie decided yesterday that he wanted to install two bookcases behind his desk so that he could store random office electronics there. Fair enough. He wanted low-lying shelves, the kind that are only about waist level. They were surprisingly difficult to find! I'm finally bringing the books over from my mom's house, and they're filling up the bookshelves so very quickly! It's beautiful to watch; as I place each volume on the shelf I remember something about that story and smile.

I've been married for nearly two months, and living with Seanie ever since we got back from the honeymoon. I've been slowly migrating my stuff from my parents' place to the new house, but it's a slow slog.

You know what drives me nuts?

The fact that we have absolutely no clocks in this house.

Seanie had one on his nightstand, but it broke and as yet has not been resuscitated. That's it. If I want to know what time it is, I have to either run to my cell phone or laptop and turn the power on.

I really ought to fix this.
